The Software Engineering Group of the Carlos III University of Madrid, SEL-UC3M, is formed by a team of software engineers of national and international prestige. The main lines of research embraced by this research group are applied to software engineering as a general area and in particular, to the worldwide need to adapt society, organizations and specifically their processes, to a digital economy by carrying out digital transformation actions that align the business and strategic objectives of social and organizations, with the digitization of their processes. The results of the work developed in the various lines of research are designed and developed to be transferable to society and the culture and entertainment industry, occupational health and safety, energy, using as support, technologies related to the design of digital products, artificial intelligence, computer vision, data analytics, among others.
